In July 2009, Microsoft planned to giveaway a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate to beta testers, who participated through Windows 7 Beta Program at Microsoft Connect. They offered that beta participants can get a copy for download in early August 2009 or a boxed copy (limited availability) after GA.

There were no update since August, but today Microsoft has sent a mail to beta participants who opted to get boxed copy of Windows 7, that they have received the commemorative boxed copies and will begin shipments next week. It may takes 4-6 weeks for delivery and will be delivered via Fed-Ex although this will vary by locale.
