The world’s largest social network website Facebook enables the most anticipated feature “Timeline” worldwide today.
Over 800 million user will now be able to switch their profiles to the new Timeline design. “Timeline” was introduced by Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg in September 2011 at his company’s F8 conference.
Timeline is a complete overhauled user interface that enables users to set a prominent picture at the top of profile, and lists years in chronological order right aside that you can click on to see what-and-when you shared on the site.
You can also feature something a way back within. Besides, it includes ‘Activity log’ showing what you have done on Facebook since you joined.
“Timeline gives you an easy way to rediscover the things you shared, and collect your most important moments. It also lets you share new experiences, like the music you listen to or the miles you run,” added Paul McDonald on Facebook blog.
The users have 7 days to review their shares that appears on your timeline before anyone else can see it. After a week, timeline will go live automatically and replace existing design. Or to get timeline right now, simply go to the Introducing Timeline page and click “Get It Now.”
