Microsoft is gearing up to release Internet Explorer 9 RC on February 10. Microsoft has sent invitation to Press for an event, to be held in San Francisco to share some important news. By the way, Microsoft has yet to confirm this officially.
On September 15th 2010, Microsoft held a similar event and released Internet Explorer 9 Beta to general public for the first time. Besides Microsoft has already confirmed that the next major development milestone of IE9 will be Release Candidate and may available in early 2011. Here is excerpt of invitation:

Members from the Internet Explorer team (and some special guests) will be visiting San Francisco in two weeks to share some important news. I know it’s an extremely busy news week already, but we’re hoping you can join us.
Some rumors are in wild that IE9 RC Escrow has been leaked and we got some screenshots of IE9 Build 6018 that show the progress made by Microsoft since its beta release.
Repositioning tabs under Address bar, Showing transfer rate in Download Manager, some UI tweaks and Tracking Protection, a feature designed to help user to control website’s online activities are few of them.
