Last Monday, Microsoft finalized and released the next iteration of Expression Studio i.e. Ver 4.0 that is a suite of tools for designing and building web and Windows client applications and rich digital media contents. Expression Studio 4 has already made available to MSDN Subscribers and 60-Day trial to public.
Your system must meet the following system requirement to run this new release flawlessly.
System Requirements:
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3,Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 operating system
- PC with 1 GHz or faster processor
- 1 GB of RAM or more
- 2 GB or more of available hard-disk space
- .NET Framework 4.0
- Silverlight 4.0
- Support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0 graphics with Windows Vista Display Driver Model (WDDM) Driver, 128 MB of graphics RAM or more, Pixel Shader 3.0 in hardware, 32-bits per pixel.
Actual requirements and product functionality may vary based on your system configuration and operating system. Some product features require FireFox 3.0 or later, and Internet Explorer 8. We gave a shot on PC running Windows 7 with Office 2010 Pro Plus and Visual Studio 2010. The whole installation process went smoothly & completed and updated existing components without any issue.

In this release, Activation is mandatory and must be completed. If you choose not to activate the software during installation, you can activate later within a predefined grace period.
